Jacob Gauge
Licensed Esthetician &
Massage Therapist

(they/them)

Jacob has been a licensed Esthetician since 2019 and a licensed Massage Therapist since 2020. After obtaining an Oncology Certification in Esthetics to help those dealing with the complications of chemo and radiation, Jacob continues to further their education for complicated and sensitive skin conditions. For over 7 years Jacob has been a skin care specialist at Ulta and occasionally works there to spend time with amazing colleagues, stay up to date on current trends, and give customers an exceptional experience. Jacob continues to learn about new techniques and technology so they can offer the best for their clients. In massage, they focus on Swedish, Neuromuscular, Trigger Point, Pin & Stretch, and Myofascial therapies. Jacob finds the most joy in massage and facials which is what you will find at Lay On Hands Spa.

Jacob enjoys spending time with their friends, family and fur babies. They have one cat (Iris) and two dogs (Suni & Amai). Jacob enjoys some light gaming, playing Dungeons & Dragons, going to conventions like Comic Con, and watching Star Trek with their husband, Derek.

Expect to be truly cared for by someone who pours their all into providing and customizing your treatment plan.

Brand Philosophy:

The Lay On Hands business philosophy revolves around a heartfelt commitment to enhancing the well-being of those I have the privilege to care for. I approach my work with a deep sense of empathy and compassion, recognizing that each person's needs are distinct. I prioritize creating meaningful connections that extend beyond transactions and hope to ensure that everyone who engages with this establishment feels genuinely cared for and supported on their journey. I believe in the constant evolution of learning and growth to better my understanding of the services, products, information and care provided, along with expanding what being a practitioner means to me. At Lay On Hands Spa, I dream to not just be a business, but a positive force in the lives these hands are blessed to work for.
